Giuliano Peparini was born in Rome in 1973. He began his artistic and professional career at the age of 15 as a dancer on Italian state television’s main entertainment programmes.<\/p>\n

Proving himself to be talented and hard-working, in 1990, at the age of 17, he landed the role of Marc in Italy’s first production of the musical, A Chorus Line<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

After receiving a scholarship, he relocated to study at the School of American Ballet<\/strong>, the official school connected to the New York City Ballet and considered the most famous ballet academy in the United States. Since then, his international career has taken him around the world performing the greatest roles in classical and contemporary repertoire. At the age of 24, he became a principal dancer (Etoile<\/strong>) at the National Ballet of Marseille<\/strong>, then assistant and ballet master for Monsieur Roland Petit<\/strong>. Encouraged by the latter to experiment with his own creations, he began choreographing ballets for various dance companies in France, Russia, Japan and Italy.<\/p>\n

Cultivating a passion for theatre and the visual arts, he decided to move to Paris<\/strong>, where he continued his theatre training, taking lessons from great French actors and teachers, including Claude Mathieu<\/strong>, Jacques Lecoq<\/strong> and Michel Galabru<\/strong>. He also attended film classes at La Femis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In 2001, he created “Lulu, le reve d’une antistar<\/strong>” for the Kirov Mariinsky in St. Petersburg, which remains in the company’s repertoire.<\/p>\n

From his collaboration with Franco Dragone, Dragone <\/strong>(Cirque du Soleil<\/strong>), there came a series of large-scale permanent aquatic shows, such as Le Re\u0302ve<\/span><\/a> (2005-2022) in Las Vegas and The House of Dancing Water<\/span><\/a> (2009-2022) in Macau.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In France, he is best known for creating the musical ‘Les Amants de la Bastille<\/span><\/a>‘ (2012), the ‘Le\u0301gende du Roi Arthur’<\/span><\/a> (2015) and two shows for Catherine Lara<\/strong>: Au-del\u00e0 des murs (2009) and ‘Bo\u0302<\/span><\/a>‘ (2018), a poetic show , combining elements of dance, circus arts and music, which won best musical performance for that year.<\/p>\n

He was part of the jury for the French TV programme ‘France’s got talent<\/span><\/a>‘ (2014)<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In Italy, he is popular with the general public for his creation of the musical ‘Romeo & Juliet – Ama e Cambia il mondo<\/a>‘<\/span> (2013) and for his role as Artistic Director over seven years of the TV programme ‘Amici di Maria De Filippi’ on Canale 5.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In 2016, he wrote and staged the programme ‘House Party,’ with guests such as Laura Pausini, Maria De Filippi, Il Volo etc. Other programmes followed one after the other, including ‘Amici Celebrities’ (2019), ‘U\u00c0<\/a><\/span>‘ (2021) and ‘Il Festival di Sanremo<\/a><\/span>‘ (2019).
