THE STORY OF A LOVE.
THE STORY OF A LOVE.

Horai tells the story of a love that comes to life and explores all its nuances, from the first meeting to the blossoming of desire, the flames of passion, and the coldness of indifference.
A journey that takes shape in the bodies of dancers, through projections and costumes, intertwining with the music of Vivaldi and Scarlatti, as well as contemporary compositions.
The different stages of a romantic relationship are explored through the verses of Greek and Latin poets, drawing an analogy with the four seasons. Inspired by the words of Catullus, Horace, or Aristophanes, the lovers move as if carried by the wind, surrounded by snowflakes, flowers, leaves, and trees that evolve from bare to lush.
Each season is not just a time of year but a chapter in the love story.
In spring, love awakens: everything feels fresh, and the discovery of the other is full of promise. Vivaldi’s lively notes fill the air; every glance, every touch is charged with potential.
Summer follows, the peak of passion, a moment when love burns intensely. It’s a time of ardor, where every encounter is a blaze of fiery emotions.
Autumn marks a slowing down. The summer fervor transforms into stability, often laced with boredom. The music softens, adopting reflective tones, while the verses narrate loves striving to adapt and endure the passage of time.
Winter arrives with its chill, a period of decline, distance, and disconnection. Lovers face the reality of their bond, seeking warmth in a world that has turned cold.
But winter gives way to a new spring. A fresh light begins to break through.
