On February 24, 2025, Giuliano Peparini was invited to speak at the “The New Rules of Soft Power” conference in Bangkok, a major event organized by the Thailand Creative Culture Agency (THACCA) in collaboration with Melco Resorts & Entertainment.
As the only Italian representative from the artistic world, Giuliano Peparini highlighted the power of storytelling in performing arts as a vital tool for soft power and the transmission of cultural heritage to future generations. He emphasized that a strong emotional connection is essential for art and culture to become effective instruments of global influence.
This high-level gathering brought together renowned figures from the worlds of creativity and innovation, including Alain Ducasse, Viviana Muscettola (Zaha Hadid Architects), Mathieu Lehanneur, and Mike White (The White Lotus), to discuss the strategic role of soft power in shaping the future.
Giuliano Peparini’s participation in this event is part of his ongoing collaboration with Melco Resorts & Entertainment, which has entrusted him with the artistic direction of the highly anticipated revival of “House of Dancing Water” in 2025.
This new production will reimagine one of the most iconic shows in the world of entertainment.
