“Le Rêve is a dream to be dreamed while fully awake, with your eyes wide open”
Franco Dragone
Le Rêve was inspired by a 1932 painting of the same name by Pablo Picasso.
Franco Dragone’s goal was to create a completely new universe and to bring people into a world where theatre, performance and audiences become one.
Synchronised swimmers slide into the water, performing an elegant ballet.
The voltigeurs glide through the air and immerse themselves in the aquatic scene.
Huge nets emerge from the water and the divers at the top make the audience gasp as they dive from almost 80 feet.
Dance, acrobatics, light and music all form part of the dream.

Le Rêve is the first permanent show at the Wynn Las Vegas Casinò and takes place in a theatre designed specifically to accommodate it, with a pool of one million litres of water.
The staging includes exceptional dives with cutting-edge special effects. The audience’s maximum distance from the stage is 12 m. This arrangement increases the unique feeling of intimacy between audience and artists on stage.
Le Rêve was the name of the construction site for the Wynn complex, before it changed to Wynn Las Vegas. It is also the name of one of Picasso’s masterpieces, owned by Steve Wynn.
The theatre’s stage is made up of many platforms that can be raised or lowered.
Sixteen tank divers are needed for each show, using 32 air cylinders and 3,500 cubic feet of pressurised air. A sophisticated set of divers, cameras, breathing systems and lights allows artists to feel comfortable underwater and ensures the safety of the artists.
Each crew member had to obtain a diving diploma before performing in the show.
The crew consists of 86 artists from 17 different countries, including gymnasts, swimmers and professional circus performers.
